Allulose

Low FODMAP (Safe)Low FODMAP

Is allulose low FODMAP?

Allulose is low FODMAP at typical servings (Low FODMAP).

Allulose is a "rare sugar" the body absorbs but barely uses, so it passes through with little fermentation and is low FODMAP. It is not a polyol like sorbitol or xylitol. Very large amounts, well above a few teaspoons, can still cause bloating or loose stools for some.
