Is chimichurri low FODMAP?
Chimichurri is high FODMAP and best avoided during the elimination phase.
Chimichurri is a parsley-and-oregano oil that traditionally leans on raw garlic, so a normal spoonful carries fructans. Made with garlic-infused oil instead, it is fine at about 2 tbsp, and the herbs and red wine vinegar stay gentle on their own.

Watch this one for ISO (hydrogen sulfide overproduction). Chimichurri contains sulfur compounds, and ISO patterns can be more sensitive to these, especially in larger servings.
