Sausage is high FODMAP and best avoided during the elimination phase.

Most sausages blend in onion, garlic, and wheat rusk, so the meat is rarely the problem. Look for 100% meat or certified low-FODMAP sausages.

Watch this one for Hydrogen sulfide SIBO (ISO). Sausage contains sulfur compounds, and hydrogen sulfide (ISO) patterns can be more sensitive to these, especially in larger servings.
