Liver

Low FODMAP (Safe)No FODMAPs

Is liver low FODMAP?

Liver is low FODMAP at typical servings (No FODMAPs).

Plain chicken or beef liver carries no FODMAPs. It is high in sulfur, worth noting for sulfur-pattern symptoms, and the dishes are the FODMAP risk, since liver is usually cooked with onion and garlic.

SIBO note

Watch this one for ISO (hydrogen sulfide overproduction). Liver contains sulfur compounds, and ISO patterns can be more sensitive to these, especially in larger servings.
