Herring, fresh is low FODMAP at typical servings (No FODMAPs).

Fresh, unmarinated herring is plain fish with no FODMAPs. Pickled or marinated herring is different: rollmops and most jarred herring are brined with sugar and packed with onion, so check the label or stick to the fresh fillet.
